Olivia Deutsch Jacobs, nee Sellinger, passed away after a long battle with cancer fought with dignity and courage, beloved wife of the late Sidney Deutsch and late Ernest Jacobs; devoted mother of Barbara (David) Shimberg, Dr. Gary (Catherine) & Richard (Bruce Clearfield) Deutsch; treasured Nana of Todd Fine, Stephi Fine, Gordy Deutsch, Jason Shimberg, Adam Deutsch (Kristen Gozawa), Ryan (Jeneca) Deutsch, Tyler Deutsch, Ali Shimberg, Joey Somerville, Johnny Somerville, Dr. Brian (Brooke) Jacobs, Michael (Carisa) Jacobs, and Molly Wagmeister; adored great grandmother of Taylor, Eli, Dylan, Maddie and Evan; cherished sister of Irene Graff (late Paul Graff); fond sister-in-law to Millie Adelman and Ruthie Rovner; loving step-mother to Marc (Eileen) Jacobs and Lesley Wagmeister; devoted friend, cousin, and aunt to many young and old including her dear friend Warren Spitz. Known by her friends and family as Olivia, Ollie and “Nana” Grape reflecting her personal passion for the color purple, her smile lite up a room, her eyes twinkled to the end and her love filled so many hearts with care and generosity. Chapel service Monday 10 AM at Shalom Memorial Funeral Home, 1700 W. Rand Road, Arlington Heights. Interment Shalom Memorial Park.
